Eligibility Requirements:

Middle Income Workforce Housing Funds, typically require households to earn no more than 120% of the area median income (AMI). While the specific income thresholds vary by county and are subject to annual updates based on the Producer Price Index, the general target population for these programs is middle-income households that are priced out of traditional housing but do not qualify for low-income affordable housing programs. 
 
Nebraska Investment Finance Authority
The income limit is set by the NIFA Board at 150% of the Area Median Income (AMI) for the household size. The NIFA website states the household income limit is $175,500 as of July 7, 2025, and will be determined by a participating lender based on location and family size.
