The “Ain’t No Stopping Us Now!” mantra of the 20th Biennial Celebration of Native Omahan Days salutes the rich past, current revitalization, and promising future of North Omaha. Native Omahans from across the country came home to reconnect with family and friends while embracing the community. The Native Omahan Club and OEDC along with over 20 community partners planned and hosted the event. Highlights of the celebration, which ran from July 27th – August 3rd, included the popular Stroll Down Memory Lane and the Native Omahans Parade. Other festivities included golf outings, a comedy jam performance, jazz and gospel music, trolley tours, and fun activities for children.
