OEDC Creatives Collective
The goal of the OEDC Creatives Collective is to increase the food security of the residents in our community through education and advocacy that is focused on food, equity, stability, and the arts. The Creatives Collective is born out of a planning initiative through the Kresge Foundation’s Fresh, Local & Equitable Initiative.

- Mini Culture Fest – February 25, 2017; 11 AM – 2 PM at North High School.
A neighborhood event focused on food and cultural expression where residents and the greater Omaha have the opportunity to be introduced to and celebrate the cultural richness of our neighborhood. Come sample cultural dishes, enjoy live performances and cooking demonstrations, get food access resources, and support local entrepreneurs.

- Culture Fest – May 13, 2017; 1 PM – 5 PM on North 24th Street
A larger-scale event to the Mini Culture Fest to increase the awareness of some of our neighborhood’s assets, celebrate the cultural richness, participate in activities for the entire family, meet new neighbors, and enjoy food and the arts.
Creatives Collective Resident Committee
The Creatives Collective Resident Committee (CCRC) is made up of residents of zip codes 68110 and 68111 who are representatives of the neighborhood that will help to guide the activities the CCRC will undertake to address food insecurity in our community.
